Timings and order can be changed to suit your family, it is a rough guide if needed. Please use your yellow exercise books for any writing or maths (these can be collected from school) - remember to date your work.

 

08:40 - 10:00

 

Movement: 5 minute move with Joe Wicks (choose a different one daily - link below)

 

Handwriting practice (practice writing the letter ‘r’, add a challenge by writing a word such as ‘red’ or ‘rob’ and then a further challenge is to write a sentence/phrase such as ‘The red hat. Remember capital letters, finger spaces and full stops! (See video)

 

Reading - use your login to access Rising Stars

 

10:00 BREAKTIME

 

10:30 Phonics (have a look at the video clip practising all set 1 sounds with the Ning Nang Nongs and join in)

 

 

11:00 Maths (see video below) and use your login to access Numbots for additional practise

 

12:00 LUNCHTIME

 

13:00 Literacy (Please re-read the Gingerbread Man leaving out some words and see if your child can fill in the gaps and use the story telling actions)

 

14:00 Topic work - Hinduism Holi (see link to Discovery Espresso below - under ‘Foundation’ tab ‘understanding the world’.

 

Watch the video on Holi, then under ‘printable resources’ complete the ‘painted person’ activity.
